Miss Minnie Palenske drove a “Tom Thumb” carriage decorated with red roses and pulled by a team of Shetland ponies in the 1900 Woodman Parade. Palenske’s carriage is seen here in front of the Commercial Hotel, waiting for the parade to begin. The man on horseback wears a Woodman uniform.
