It’s Photo Friday. Today’s photo is a rare view of a tornado over Alta Vista, Kansas, dated May 13, 1905. This view is unusual in that it resembles a stereoview card, however in fact it’s only two views presented on the same backing board, showing the tornado in two locations over the Wabaunsee County town.

Today’s photo was taken by Alta Vista photographer, W. A. McCoy who worked in southwest Wabaunsee County in the early 20th century.
